Tanis Marquette, Sustainability Director; PQ Corp.

Tanis Marquette, CSP ISSP-CSP SMCP, has 30 years of experience in EHS+S. She has worked in various levels of government and a variety of industries including food processing, wire rope, and specialty chemicals manufacturing. She recently completed her role as Chair of the International Society of Sustainability Professional’s Resource Committee developing a white paper on global sustainability certifications. She currently sits on the BPA Worldwide Board of Directors Sustainability Committee and the Professional Ethics Committee with the American Society of Safety Professionals. Throughout her career, numerous trade associations and participated in the development of safety sustainability standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 20400, ASTM E60, NSF-355, NAHB/ICC-700, and UL880. She is co-author of the 3rd edition The Safety Professional’s Handbook chapter on safety and sustainability due out later this year.
